Saturday, May 29, 2010 NOON – 7:00 PM at The Cotton Gin North Lawn Jarvisburg, NC [Rain or Shine!] We will release the 2008 Coastal Collage and 2008 Whalehead White! Live Music on the Lawn, all afternoon! Food from local Currituck County restaurants – pit-cooked BBQ, fresh seafood and local vegetables will be featured. View and purchase works of art from local artists – bid on artworks created in the vineyard

Music & Wine Fest on the Outer Banks

2010 Wine & Beer Jam on the Outer Banks 2010 Wingo De Mayo Wine & Beer Jam The Wingo De Mayo wine and beer jam is this weekend, May 8th and 9th!  Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 the day of and are now on sale at Native Vine   On Saturday, May 8th, the Wine and Beer Jam will host the 2nd Annual Wingo de Mayo Wing Cookoff!.  The wing tasting tickets are $10 and are now available as well.  Under 21 may purchase Wing Tasting tickets AND attend the Wine and Beer Jam free, but of course cannot imbibe.   There will be a separate “grand reserve tasting” for $25 during the festival that you won’t want to miss! Also, just booked, Mojo Collins as one of the bands on Saturday.  Mojo Collins has played with or opened for Fleetwood Mac, Janis Joplin and Big Brother & the Holding Company, Steve Miller, Santana, The Grateful Dead, Ike and Tina Turner, Muddy Waters, Leon Redbone, Sly and the Family Stone, Blue Cheer, The Spinners, Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs, Keith Shealy, and Stevie Ray Vaughan!  For more info on the Festival go to www.objam.com .   If you would like to enter a team in the Wing Cook Off, contact Native Vine at 252-491-5311.  The entry fee is $25 per team.  Great food, great wine, great beer, and great music all to benefit a great cause:  supporting underfunded projects at Dare and Currituck Libraries!
