Traffic heading south on the Chesapeke Expressway, toward the Outer Banks, is backed up three miles, to the Battlefield Boulevard exit in Chespeake.

Beach Road Grill Nags Head
We accidentally stopped by the Beach Road Grill in Nags Head at Mile Post 10.5 on the Virginia Dare Trail. We were glad the other place we intended to visit was closed. The food was great. Fresh cut french fries and great sandwiches were on tap. Friendly service and great local atmosphere. We recommend the Beach Road Grill. Meet Jan and Jane, twin sisters and owners!
