Local baseball: Peninsula Pilots win at Outer Banks
The Peninsula Pilots let the game slip in the ninth, but took control in the 10th inning to win 7-5 at the Outer Banks Daredevils in the Coastal Plain League. Jonathan Lynch drove in the winning run with a single in the 10th, and Ivan Hartle added an insurance RBI knocking in Josh Wright.

Steamers washed out, doubleheader tonight
The Edenton Steamers, hoping to rebound from a 10-4 loss at Coastal Plain League North Division cellar-dweller Petersburg Friday night, were rained out of Saturdays home game against the Outer Banks Daredevils.
