The Currituck Beach Lighthouse began service in 1875. The 162 ft. (214 steps) tower is open to the public. Admission fee used for restoration work. $6 anyone 8 or above, children 7 and under are free. Located off NC Route 12 in Corolla. Open daily 10am-6pm from Easter through Thanksgiving (5pm in Nov.).
